Victoria Watson
Director of Bands
This is my 34th year teaching band and I love being a music educator. I have taught 17 years at Krueger MS in NEISD, where I managed the band program and fine arts/electives department. Under my direction, the students throughout my career have received consistent sweepstakes awards for UIL and the Krueger Band placed as a TMEA Area Honor Band Finalist for 2019 and 2022. I have had the privilege of working with State Marching Band Finalists throughout my career. During my 30 years of teaching, I have taught Pre-K through College with percussion as my specialty. I have performed as a soloist for Texas State Orchestra Concerto Contest, Heart of Texas Band Soloist, Fiesta Texas Show performances, Mid-Texas Symphony, Viva Symphony and various other venues. My hobbies include watching movies, NBA--Go SPURS, architecture, and photography. I love spending time with my family, sons Russell, Phillip and Trevor and my fur baby Luna. I love teaching students the joy of music as learning an instrument can be a life long skill. It has been exciting to be a part of the LEE community since Spring of 2023 and I look forward to continue working with these amazing students. Go VOLS!!!
Bryce Roddenberry
Associate Director
Bryce Roddenberry was born and raised in Austin, TX, where he graduated from James Bowie High School in 2019. While at Bowie HS, Mr. Roddenberry played tuba in the concert ensembles and marching band, and he was also a member of the steel drum ensemble.
Mr. Roddenberry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State in 2023. While at Texas State University, he studied tuba with professor Raul Rodriguez and was a member of the Texas State Tuba/Euphonium Studio and performed with them at the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) convention in 2023. Mr. Roddenberry was also a member of the Texas State University Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Caroline Beatty and was a member of the Texas State University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Jacob Harrison. Mr. Roddenberry also performed with the Bobcat Marching Band, where he was a section leader, the Bobcat Basketball Band, and the Ceremonial Brass Ensemble.
Mr. Roddenberry was a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2019 - 2022 seasons, and he served as the section leader from 2020-2022. Additionally, in his final season with the group, he received many distinguishing awards, including the Crusader of the Year. He still works with the organization as a member of the Brass Faculty. Mr. Roddenberry has also worked with many schools in the Austin area as a Marching Band Technician and Masterclass Instructor. In the fall of 2023, he completed his student teaching in Eanes ISD at Hill Country Middle School, under the supervision of Mrs. Kristin Hames, and Bridge Point Elementary School, under the supervision of Mrs. Patience Jones.
In his free time, Mr. Roddenberry enjoys running, watching sports, and spending time with his mom, dad, and sister.
